Let’s Learn NC
We’re all about fairness, opportunity and equal access to education. We advocate for the same college tuition for ALL North Carolina students, because higher education should be equally accessible to all state residents. Currently, undocumented students are charged out-of-state tuition—which is four times higher than in-state tuition—even if they meet all the other residency requirements as other students (including a physical presence in NC for 12 continuous months).

Adelante
Adelante focuses on education issues affecting Latino and migrant students and their families in North Carolina. The coalition is a collaboration among nonprofit organizations that focus on advocacy and public policy, community organizing, and grassroots support. We are working to ensure that North Carolina has a high-quality K-12 and post-secondary public education system where students will succeed and excel without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, language, culture, socioeconomic or immigration status.
The Let’s Learn NC campaign is led by the Adelante Education Coalition in partnership with the We Are NC coalition and many other groups, including organizations of undocumented youth and allies.

Student Action with Farmworkers
Student Action with Farmworkers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to bring students and farmworkers together to learn about each other’s lives, share resources and skills, improve conditions for farmworkers, and build diverse coalitions working for social change.
